Frances Horn Butler, 88 years old of Wichita Falls Texas went home to be with her Lord on Friday March 27, 2015 surrounded by her family.

Frances was born on February 20, 1927 to George and Bessie Horn in Farmersville Texas. She shared her childhood and life with many siblings, Wilma, Joyce, Larry, Royce, Gene, James, Odis, Georgia and her dear friend Olvis. Frances and J.W. Butler were married August 15, 1946 in Vernon Texas. They shared a beautiful life together for 46 years. Frances was a lifetime member of First Free Will...

Frances Horn Butler, 88 years old of Wichita Falls Texas went home to be with her Lord on Friday March 27, 2015 surrounded by her family.

Frances was born on February 20, 1927 to George and Bessie Horn in Farmersville Texas. She shared her childhood and life with many siblings, Wilma, Joyce, Larry, Royce, Gene, James, Odis, Georgia and her dear friend Olvis. Frances and J.W. Butler were married August 15, 1946 in Vernon Texas. They shared a beautiful life together for 46 years. Frances was a lifetime member of First Free Will Baptist Church where she faithfully shared her love for the Lord with her children and grandchildren. Frances loved gospel hymns and even wrote music as a young woman. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Eastern Star. She was very involved in the PTA and was a life member. Frances enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, card games and she could play a mean game of dominoes. She always had a place for everything and knew when something had been moved or used.

Frances will be dearly missed by her family, she is survived by three daughters, Deborah Crockett and husband Bob, Janice Payton and husband Larry, Julie Sanders and husband Greg, and one son Jonny Butler and wife Bambi. Grandchildren, David, Sarah, Danny, Brandi, Carla, Matt, Joey, Anna, and Josh. Frances was blessed with sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Odis.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband J.W., her parents, her siblings and her precious baby boy Paul.

Visitation will be at Hampton Vaughan Monday March 30 from 6-8 pm. Remembrance for Frances will be Tuesday March 31 at 1 pm at Hampton Vaughan Chapel.
