Ernie Ray Johnston, 70, of Lakeside City passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the Magnolia Garden of Crestview Memorial Park with Robert 'Bucky' Castillo officiating and with military honors rendered by the U. S. Navy Honor Guard. No formal visitation is scheduled. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Ernie Ray Johnston, 70, of Lakeside City passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Mr. Johnston was born October22, 1944 in Wichita Falls to Ernest and Dora (Bond) Johnston and was a lifetime resident here. He served in the U. S. Navy during the period of the Cuban Missle Crisis. Ernie was a fuel truck driver, retiring after 42 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood working.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his sisters, Sandra Johnston of Lakeside City and Lisa Johnston Castillo and her husband, Robert Castillo of Fort Smith, Arkansas; nephew, Shawn Harasimo; niece, Karrah Bleeker; close friend, Ronnie Capps and uncles, Lesley and Charles Bond.
